"Kevin is not only an incredible vocalist himself, but has the knowledge and talents to articulate how to better said student’s belting abilities and vocals in general. He can work with people of many different skill sets and improve performance no matter how much training or experience you have. I have minimum vocal training and Kevin is able to explain what I need to do in order to sustain my belt or make my breath more stable in a way that makes sense to ME. He is kind, understanding, and has so much knowledge on general vocal health. Always excited to book a lesson with him whenever I can."
Ariana BurK, Broadway Performer

"Since beginning voice lessons with Kevin, I've noticed huge improvements with my mix and general vocal technique. I'm singing with more ease and confidence, and I'm enjoying singing more than ever before. Kevin's passion for teaching is clear from the moment you meet him; it's inspiring to have a teacher who is constantly working to further his own knowledge of the voice. Kevin is eager to share what he knows, and is excellent at adapting to his students' individual needs. He truly listens to and cares for his students, and he gets results!"
Nathan Gallop, Chicago Performer

"Kevin Kuska changed how I viewed singing; he allowed me to expand my range in a way I didn’t know was possible and fought so hard to try and find. He allowed me to discover these things about my voice with ease and with a healthy technique. He is so knowledgeable in voice and is only going to continue to grow as a teacher and artist himself. I cannot recommend him enough."
Katherine Able, Chicago Performer

Kevin Kuska, founder and owner, has had a love for the science of the human voice since his freshman year at Millikin University. He was lucky to be placed into Dr. Amy Fuller's voice studio where she encouraged and fostered a love for the voice the led Kevin down a rabbit hole. When the pandemic shut down the world in March of 2020, Dr. Fuller pointed Kevin to an online workshop for Somatic Voicework the LoVetri Method™ being hosted by Jeanie LoVetri. After the 2 hour Zoom workshop, Kevin knew he had to become certified in this method.
Over the next year, Kevin completed all 3 levels of Somatic Voicework as well as several additional workshops focusing solely on belting. After learning new skills from these trainings, he saw a gap in the musical theatre industry when it came to vocal knowledge. He has continued to build his teaching skills through additional trainings and private lessons. After moving to the Chicagoland area, Kevin began teaching private voice to students at BAMtheatre in Hinsdale, as well as teaching theatre industry professionals in Chicago.
His student base ranges from intermediate to advanced clients, all the way from educational theatre to Broadway stages. He has completed his Masters of Vocal Pedagogy in Musical Theatre Vocal Pedagogy from Rider University, as well as Levels 1 & 2 of Vocal Kinesthetics, which is Neurology Based Voice Teaching. He has performed at many regional theatres, including the Paramount Theatre, Drury Lane Theatre, Marriott Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, the Cadillac Palace Theatre, and is he currently performing on the National Tour of Meredith Wilson's The Music Man.
